I am a largely self taught creative artist. I say largely as the only art education I have had is in secondary education and a one year art course at college. Which if anything taught me a dislike of formalised art classes.Â

Inspiration comes from a myriad of different sources: Spirituality, religion, sex workers and the environment to name but a little. More recently it has been National Socialist (Nazi) ideology and symbolism, together with The Austrian Painter and the hierarchy of that regime providing much fertile ground for my imagination to feed upon. I could say the same with the actresses of Hollywoods Golden age , and Velma from Scooby Doo but that is another story. Did I mention I love History?
What else? A number of years ago I was blessed with, if that is the right expression Trigeminal Neuralgia. If you like agonising pain and the constant feeling you have red hot meat hooks being jabbed in your face and or something wriggling around in your cheek, then I recommend it. If not, I don’t blame you.
Other than that I share a house with five black cats, who grudgingly allow me to live in their property. painting aside, I like to garden and write
