Most happy? When I have zero or next to zero stress load, nothing impending, my in tray is empty, my out tray is full ( or empty) and I have a brush in my hand and canvas on the easel. When I can let go off the organisating system I have downstairs. That which provides a theoretical framework with which to work by and when I am being creative generally.

The garden provides a massive area for peace of mind and miserable weather just kills it. We have had little but rain, rain and more rain recently. Cold grey skies and unrelenting piss form the heavens just kills the dance. I am a man who likes the sunshine, blue skies and bird song, walks out in the warm weather cycling too. I loathe this wet grey business with a passion, but that is not answering the question is it. So being creative, doing the garden, painting, drawing, writing and all that kind of thing. Did I mention having plenty money and lots of cat food stashed around the place. Well that is important to my emotional contentment too, as is of course having plenty of food for myself.

being able to and then doing my own thing, preferably with as much peace as the good lord will allow me in each busy day. Pleasant music to relax by, a good book and good health. I guess being in a stable, solid and healthy relationship may help as well. There is something very satisfying about holding and hugging a fellow human being. Then going out and doing stuff together and coming home to be with each other and all the rest of that stuff.

It also probably helps when I am not dealing with depression, not wanting to kill myself or die has some surprising health advantages. I think I will be happier come the 26th December when the current festive nonsense is over and daylight hours start to increase again. Having snow on the ground might be nice as would visiting the mountains again. I think this has answered the question.
