I wanted to write this to someone yesterday. He is or was a long term debtor who tried to duck out, slip away, hide and otherwise renege on his debts. He is a pretty crap physical training instructor as well, but thats another story.
You can run but you can never hide, the harder you run, the more tired you get. The heavier your load becomes. The more you skip your responsibilities, the weaker you get. The weaker you get, the more The Devil has you. That Devil is your own self and you can never hide from yourself. Each time you look in the mirror, you see a thousand things. Each thing you have ever done and the less you deal with each of them, the more it gets to you. Your pack becomes so heavy so as to drain your energy before you even lift it off the ground and trust me I have carried many burdens over many journeys and the less you carry, the easier your journey becomes.
Clear your mind, empty your pockets give away your posessions and start with nothing. A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step and eah new journey should involve nothing. You only get one stab at this life and the way you conduct yourself, determines the manner of your passing and that of the next journey, we all must take. Settle your accounts now and there will be less to pay later.
I did not write to him in the end, I just threatened immediate action and he coughed up the goods. Whether he chooses to learn from this lesson is his business, I no longer care.
