Well I have been doing a fair bit of painting recently, which is a change to the writing that has gone on holiday for a little while. That is apart from here. What I am writing about will come out in due course, but right now it is winter over there and the main protagonist is currrently dealing with melancholia. In other words I am finding space to write about something else. Maybe the art gallery owner, the Mother or indeed his parents. It will probably be the gallery owner, though when that story will start is another matter altogether.
I like writing, it brings great pleasure and keeps me busy. It also provides a welcome change from the painting side of things, creativity brings relaxation, peace and reduces all manner of anxiety and other mental health goings on. It beats anything to do with religion, church going and faith, I have very little or should that read nothing to do with them. Churches are interesting places of architecture and local history.
Painting wise, I have been mostly working in oils of late and whilst waiting for that lot to dry. I have picked up acrylics again, there is lots of incomplete work that needs attention which suits me fine. The garden has seen more action n the last couple of months than it has seen in years, there is more light coming in, a large pile of fire wood and more to come.
As for my love life, watch this space. x
