What bores you?

Bores the Christ out of me, reality TV, the vast majority of sport, including football and every one of those constant repeats they insist on showing every day. I got round the whole problem by chucking my set top box in the recycling bin and no longer receive a television signal into my home. I am contemplating throwing the box out too, but its useful for watching DVD’s and that kind of thing and I will probably kick myself if I do.

Sitting around and doing nothing also gets me, I like to be active, so sitting around making idle conversation is anathema, people who come round often find themselves doing the sitting down whilst I paint, draw or anything that means I am making, building, creating or producing something. This is how I relax, doing the other thing just irritates me and I get irritable, even argumentative.

Repetition is something I avoid at all costs, it is akin to the plague and is sometimes enough to make me go out and make me want to step out in front of a bus. Employers bore me, managers bore me and so do government busy bodies who cannot deviate or do not know how to deviate from the song book in current use. Box tickers, even worse are box dwellers and people blinded by religion, the media and political dogma.
