My favourite thing to cook? The answer to that is Meth Amphetamine, I do it in the garden in old old drum. It stinks like hell, makes your eyes burn but the profits you can make from selling the stuff are enormous.
Naturally I am joking, I do not have favourite thing to cook. I just enjoy cooking food and preferably lots of it. I have a large appetite, not that you would notice it on my frame nor am I particularly fussy about what I eat either. I simply ask that it is wholesome, clean and does not involve Liver or for that matter or other insides. I happily eat Pasta, rice, potatoes, lentils and other bulk foods. I will happily eat almost every vegetable on the planet, including the ones I have not tried yet and meat does not bother me either. Though what with the current Avian/ Chicken flu outbreak I am again questioning that protein source. I do not fear catching bird flu, it just makes me question the methods of raising such livestock. I avoid red meat as much as possible, ditto excessive fat and cheese and am mindful that my digestion is not what it used to be. Excessive alcohol misuse saw to that and I am probably suited to a vegetarian diet than much else. Maybe I ought to follow J’s example more. (J is my best female friend) To have a compost heap in your belly, rather than a morgue if you get what is meant by that.
I make a mean hot curry, lentils area great source protein and fibre, versatile and tasty to. I am slowly moving toward a more whole food, whole meal diet. That is brown rice and bread, wholemeal pasta and so on. Junk food such as potato chips went out along with believing politicians and watching television. I rarely if ever bother with desserts and that kind of thing. Fruit is preferable, healthier and there is no fuss involved in making it either. Ultimately I like it when other people do the cooking for me, as I am kind of lazy and would rather paint. I cook because it is better than starving and I like eating to.

The more I think about it, the more inclined I am to go vegetarian again. If I was a cannibal I dare say I would enjoy cooking Missionaries, especially the fat self righteous American variety. Sorry American readers I ought to know better but served up with an Onion stuffed in its mouth and the carcass cleaned out and filled with delicious veggies you could probably make one quite palatable. Plus it would hopefully sing whilst being cooked and cooking is something that should be done with joy. Indeed there are cultures around the world who think it a rotten idea to cook whilst in a black mood. believing that negativity will get into the cooking and make the recipients sick. Cooking is one off those things where the work should be shared out amongst the family members. (Where applicable) My cats love to help me cook, however their ideas are not like mine and they are not suited to chopping onions or handling ladles. In fact all they want to do is sniff the food, then eat it cooked or not. One day I may just…
