It’s a simple answer and one that many will resonate with, it is politicians and their empty promises and false words. Their lies, duplicity, double dealing, underhanded and self serving behaviour. That which sees them serve their own interests and that of their friends before they consider anyone else. That is of course if they even consider considering anyone else. These people inhabit every level of society from the village hall to the great palaces of parliament ( Built at the tax payers expense) They do little or no work, never get their hands dirty except in creating misery for other people and enjoy subsidised meals and have all their expenses paid. By the tax payer. That suit he wears is to make him look respectable. Like the wolf dressed in Sheep’s clothing, he comes in the night and steals your blanket.
For this the taxpayer gets reduced services, increased bills and a poke in the eye. naturally the politicians vote themselves a pay rise every couple of years and ensure essential workers DON’T. it is simply not in their interest to look after the needs of the nation or populace, keep them hungry and they are easier to control. keep them fearful and their job becomes even easier. Wherever they are these are the scum who foment war, encourage the arms trade and toady up to totalitarian/ fascist regimes who routinely murder and persecute their neighbours whilst calling themselves peace loving and democratic. These are the people who say this must be done to benefit everyone, then do the complete opposite.
They are not to be trusted and are best regarded as one would trust The Devil. You can recognise Satan’s work in the deeds and words of the politician. If a tree is rotten, then it’s fruit shall also be so. You can be assured that the fruit of the tree of your parliament is rotten to the core and its gardeners sow only discord and hell.
