What is your mission?

This is perhaps a many pronged question. One it is to do as much as I can in the short space of time that I/ we all have been allotted on the Earth. To create, to explore, to grow and to learn. To learn not to be so cynical, to be more trusting to develop grow and improve myself as a spiritual being on a human journey, not as some people might thing a human being on a spiritual journey. To cut myself away from distractions such as the ceaseless noise of the television (Done) and to not trust too much. That is not to regard everyone with suspicion but more to learn from past experience. Some people will pretend to be one thing then turn on a six pence into an Angel or a Demon. I have probably written about this on my blog. Creativity is perhaps the most important aspect of this mission if I have a mission her on earth. Everything else has simply not been that successful, my employment record is woeful and I can go off on a tangent at any given moment. This is apparently the ADHD, so along with that, it could be a point that thinking before opening my mouth could be an important part of this learning. Listening more, speaking less and doing more of what I am supposed to be doing, which is again; creating, learning, building and bettering myself as a Human Being. Not everybody wants to learn the wickedness and deceits of our elected representatives or the global conspiracy to enslave the human race amidst perpetual war and tyranny. Many people are blissfully happy in their habits what with watching soap opera’s , reality TV and the rest of that stuff.

If anything and that is repeating myself (Again) It is learning to accept, to forgive, to grow and to flourish. The best bit is minding my own business, the less pleasant aspect is other people not doing so, again it is about acceptance of what annoys us in other people or that we find disagreeable in someone else is often a reflection of our own selves. Being spiritually aware is great fun, it is also hard work. Staying as much as one can in the present moment, takes times, takes patience and no small amount of practice. It is about discipling the mind, look after the mind and you look after the body. Look after the physical and you protect the mental, look after both of these and you look after the spiritual, or at least that is the idea. If I were to have a somewhat more conventional career perhaps I would have chosen teaching, as it was I wanted to be a chef and wound up in retail. Teaching provides for the future, it creates outcomes, rarely does it provide much in the way of income. Money pays bills and allows us to buy stuff we do not always need, learning that we do not need to accumulate stuff to be happy. (Done) There is plenty food in the cupboard, I do not need to go out and buy stuff for every meal. ( Learning) I can get a Dopamine fix in a hundred other ways than that particular method. (Done)

Finally it is knowing when to stop writing or talking cause enough has been said. As Mark Twain said it is better to keep quiet and to be taken for a fool than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt.
