Is the one they will all believe. So said Joseph Goebbels when in actuality, It was his boss Adolf Hitler who penned the phrase in his book Mein Kampf. Where he writes:
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
Nowadays of course if governments and politicians are caught lying then it is often brushed off as an oversight and the culprit makes an excuse that it was not their intention to mislead or otherwise fool people into believing a situation or matter was other than what it was reported to be. No government that supports the current regime in Israel would dream of mentioning that Hamas is the creation of that countries intelligence service or Al Quaeda the child of the American CIA. Both of these are inconvenient non facts and would upset the apple cart if it was spoken about too loudly or at all. Politicians lie all the time, you can tell when they are doing so, their lips are moving. Election time is always the best time to watch these parasites, they promise a whole raft of wonderful things and deliver the opposite, it is a wonder why anyone bothers to vote.
As my late Father said: “It is to keep idiots like Hitler out of power.” So we end up with idiots like Starmer, Biden and Trump instead. Biden of course is not strictly an idiot, he has dementia. There are similarities I guess, both involve lack of or reduced mental capacity, responsibility and a host of other factors too. Frightening when you have whole countries, their economies and their populations to play with. Political leaders could all benefit from having a upper age cut off limit. (America) A mental and physical fitness test(s) throughout their term of office and a ban on anyone aspiring to political office from having business or other interests that may conflict with the best interests of the people they serve. ( You should not be a Zionist shill) Nor should their perks and privileges exceed their immediate needs. No more subsidised organic restaurants in The British Houses of Parliament, no tax payer funded second homes or second incomes. Unless you run a regular car boot sale stand or like me fancy yourself as an artist and sell the odd bit of work, whilst gardening as a side line. It would be hard to see the current shower on either side of The House of Commons, getting their hands dirty and calloused doing manual labour but I may be wrong. Personally I do not see Two Tier Starmer knowing one end of a spade from another, let alone use the damn thing. Though saying that he does not need to as he is busy digging himself an early grave as we speak. I do not want to speak about the good ol’ US of A, Biden already has one foot in one and Trump is no spring chicken either. The American political elite kind of reminds me of Soviet Russia in its last decades, old men grasping onto power and life whilst trying to appear to be absolutely fine. Except the fact that both Andropov and Chernenko were 69 and 73 respectively. Their predecessor Leonid Brezhnev getting to the grand old age of 75. Donald Trump will be 79 in 2025, his counterpart Joe Biden is 82.
Elsewhere this artist who thinks of himself as a political commentator has been painting and is slowly working through a massive backlog of incomplete work. Some of which has been sat around for ages and is beginning to annoy him. it is like knowing what to do, but not knowing how to do it. Something to do with multiple perspectives and other things that require self learning in the reading of passages from books and other media. In the meantime here is some recent completed work:
