A couple of weeks ago I kicked something out that was not serving me so well. The act freed up my time, took a spot of bother off my mind and generally made things better. To be honest these last few weeks have seen a lot of kicking stuff out and for that matter kicking people out, though not necessarily out of my home. All of it has been for the better, none of it particularly unpleasant and at the same time plenty of new has come in to replace the old. Yesterday it was the turn of that nasty stained mattress, today the clothes airer gave up the ghost. I am in two minds as to whether throwing the bed frame out is also a good idea. I could just break it down of course and put it away for a rainy day. Or much it easier just leave it and buy an airbed to throw on top of it if I have overnight visitors.

TUCKER

In this time I have been doing some kitten socialising, which involves sitting in a cage with lots of kittens and playing with them. Predictably I have managed to adopt one of them. I am not allowed the other two, apparently my house is not big enough! It is just as well I now have three boys and two girls, having five of the former will seriously throw things out of balance. Ideally I could do with another female, more so I could do with a larger house. Right now Tucker as is his name, is settling in quite happily. The landlord is ignorant of my breeching the terms of the tenancy agreement and…

It is a grey dull day outside today, I am loathe to go out in it. But I said I said I would be there and there is no real excuse to not be so. The evenings of late are being taken up stroking and fussing the new arrival, painting seems to now come a poor second. I may as well face up to the fact that I am a parent, whether I can, should or bother putting this skill on my cv is another thing altogether. After all I have a profession, I am a gardener. Albeit a professionally confused one.
