A thing that I thought was rubbish and duly got rid of has been reinstated, it is a bit like the stone that was rejected by the builder becoming the cornerstone (Psalm 118:22) (Matthew 21:42) In some ways it is a bit like getting back with your ex. Though that has as much chance as hell freezing over where I am concerned. You see I killed the bitch and buried her under the patio. No this was a website relationship and not the one I wrote of in a previous blog. That one has been well and truly got rid of, it was fake, pretentious, crap and a host of other negatives. I feel better for its absence and can move on with what I have to do. Which speaking of, is fulfilling my obligation to the people at the Job Centre in applying for work. In this case a forty mile round trip each day, an open day for which I really should make an attempt and who knows? They may even want to interview me… Interviews are generally awful things, where people ask silly questions for which I never have the right answers. They do this on purpose of course, they want to weed people out and ask you stuff you have not planned for. Even worse they ask you stuff for which you give an honest and straight forward answer: No I am not a team player, far from it, I am crap as a team player and always have been. Nobody likes this answer, nor do they like those who think outside of the box, who have a brain they can call their own. It also helps you have a CV that does not expand to several pages worth, meaning you don’t have nearly 80 previous employers under your belt. They may also be looking for more local staff, I know I would. Its much easier that way, they can come in at short notice, are less likely to be stuck in traffic…
To be honest I actually prefer being an artist, even if I am a professionally confused one.
