So tomorrow I have a telephone interview with the DWP.  I suspect they are going to be boring and make some insane demands. I hope I manage to keep my temper and don’t tell them to shove off. These people have to understand I enjoy being an artist and am not much interested in anything that does not include art or create in it. I think if anybody suggests shop work, retail or the like I will cheerfully strangle them.

On a different note, it is now getting towards the time where I want to switch the summer blanket over to the duvet. There was a distinct freshness in the air this morning, which does not mean I should do this task immediately. It just means the weather is having an off day. Fiddling around and having a fight with the duvet, will probably just mean exactly that. Then the weather will warm up again and all the fuss will have been for nothing. But that is no excuse to leave the bed a shamble and by rights I ought to tidy the structure up and make it habitable for later on. It’s nice coming home to a properly made bed and not having to re-arrange a bomb site when you are dead tired. It’s also pleasant when something worthwhile writing about about pops up. I try and largely succeed in avoiding topics involving politics and conspiracy theories, anyone with half a grey cell knows politicians for the greater part are a bunch of self serving, duplicitous…

The dance (2024)

TBH it is far safer and not too mention easier, just to write about art and creating. My girlfriend says I am a creator and I am not going to argue with her. She is of course right: I paint, draw, garden and a host of other creative things. I am not just an artist and to say just that would be both inaccurate and unfair. I will write about being a historian later. In other news, the garden has been taking up a little time recently and it now looks like the same as it did before. The greenhouse however has been tidied through, the ants had the sunlight flood their home when I lifted the old rug and the Bramble has been cut back to a more manageable size. The pond has had a lot of pond weed removed and the grass needs strimming.

Hey!

I am an artist and blogger, resident to a famous university city in Central South East England. When I am not doing the above I am gardening and when not gardening, I am most likely doing something else
