I have been wanting to write for a few days but other things have got in the way. The weather has been pleasantly warm and I have found it in myself to pick up a paintbrush and use it for its intended purposes. Half of me wants to get an old article, chop and change it, put some glitter on it and call it new. The other half took a short look at the intended ramblings and though it easier to chop half of it out and edit the relevant bit down to something more manageable. In the meantime I am writing a blog and if you want a dirty story then you will have to wait.
The dirty story in question was written a few (Actually 7 years) ago. Just where does time go to? In this case probably out the window being spent on one project or another. Time is precious, far more so than money which you can soon re-coup, once time is gone it is gone there is no clawing it back. You cannot take you money with you when you die, not your material goods, but you can cram an awful lot into your allotted time on this Earth. People will remember you for your deeds good or bad, but could probably not care less for all that stuff you accumulated. If you are wealthy the tax man will want to know you, actually if you are piss poor he will want to know you. The tax man always wants to know you, even when you ae nothing and when you are dead. Personally I have not heard from the tax man in a number of years, nor have I heard from the tax woman and in this politically correct age: tax person. I simply do not earn enough to be of much concern to them.
The weather today, though warm is overcast and the sun looks to have gone on holiday, there is no suggestion of rain. I finally got around to putting the net over the pond, which the cats find interesting and Snails are spotted doing tight rope acts. With a pond net come pond fish and we now have four Goldfish all safe and sound protected from the local Herons who do not like nets tangling their feet up. My foul chest has finally cleared up and the coughing and wheezing from years of smoking appears to have finally dissipated.
I have happy news, more on that another day.
